To apply for family housing at Luke Air Force Base, prospective residents must complete an Balfour Beatty Housing application and submit it along with a copy of their orders to the Housing Management Office (HMO) located in Building 1150 office number 1039, Luke AFB, Glendale, AZ 85307 or Fax to 623-856-3718. Additional assistance numbers 623-856-7643 Commercial, 896-7643 DSN. The Housing Management Office (HMO) will provide you with a referral for housing with Balfour Beatty Communities.

The housing referral, a Balfour Beatty Communities application, a copy of orders and a leave  earnings statement (LES)   must be accompany the prospective resident to the Balfour Beatty Communities Management Office located at 1361 Kachina Glendale, AZ 85307 or faxed to 623-322-4788.  The application can be found on-line via our website: www.lukefamilyhousing.com.

A Balfour Beatty Communities Resident Specialist will assist the applicant further.

The following information is provided for your convenience:

  • Once you have arranged phone, service please provide our office with the number.

  • Renter’s Insurance: additional renter’s insurance is recommended.

  • Heat, Hot water, Electric, and Trash Pickup: are all included in your BAH.

  • Move in Day: Move-in orientations are usually scheduled in advance during normal business hours. The will consist of an explanation of the terms of the lease, addendums, instructions on placing a service request, an overview of the Resident Guide, and an explanation of the Property Condition Report. Please contact our office at 623-388-3515, if you have any questions regarding the Move-in orientation process.  Please allow 45-60 minutes to review and sign all leasing documents.

  • Please remember that we will prorate the month you move in and that all monies for that month are due at move in and must be paid by CERTIFIED FUNDS or CREDIT CARD. (i.e. cashiers check, money order or debit) The allotment option can only be started on the 1st of the month and will be withdrawn twice from your LES on the 15th and 1st of every month as allotments are paid in arrears.

  • Lease Agreement: The lease is for 12 months after the 12 month term is completed, the lease will automatically extend to a month-to-month basis unless terminated by either party by giving 30 days written notice. Please do not hesitate to ask the Resident Specialist or our management team anything you do not fully understand.
  • Packing material and box Disposal: After unpacking your boxes, please remember to flatten your boxes and dispose of them with your recyclables. Bulk items are picked-up the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.
